G-Star — US First (Selvedge)

THE DETAILS

Size: 34, Length of Wear: 10+ years, How Many Washes: 6

I’ve had the pleasure of these jeans in my wardrobe for 13 years. I’ve warn them naturally when, and as the urge has struck me, not every day for 6 months in a hurry to rush the process. These G-Star US First’s are full of heritage detailing like chain loop stitching on the hem of the back pockets (not just on the hem of the legs), selvedge on the coin pocket and a very rare treat being the stay stitch on the waistband button. No longer in production, these jeans are a prized possession.

Work jeans. I went with a cheap “waterless” pair from Levi’s – the quality is poor compared to selvedge but fades came very easily.
