Wonderful signs of wear. great whiskers on the front.
It these 501xx were mine, I would have patched the torn crotch with denim on the outside (I always patch my old worn out Levi´s 501xx´s, some of them are more patch than original 501)

The salt & vinegar is the key Ivan to ”keeping good shape” : the no-wash theory is a trend-led by bloggers.The reality is that cloths need maintenence especially true indigo based cloths at the traditional weight :Thirteen & 3/4 ounce is the standard.If you dont respect the cloth your jeans will simply look like you have slept in them for a year ( like most of the no-washer posts look like) They dont show any regard to the personalisation , they just look like a ”soap-dodger” has been wearing them….. Ware-outs : Beware.
