Soaked twice, washed once. I’m a 34 waist, so these fit perfect from the start and stretched out a ton (the 34s were too tight in the thighs). The Zimbabwean denim is buttery soft. Favorite pair.

No washes or soaks. Been through most of my first semester of college and somehow made it through without needing a wash. Wore these for 3 months straight, yet there’s not much fading. Still working on it though. Yes, I did starch the combs for an experiment because these are my first raws.

After seeing how stiff the bottom of his jeans went in the snow yesterday, Gareth in the UK decided to bury his eleven month old ED-39′s in the back garden for the afternoon to get the crispness back into them. The theory being that it keeps the indigo in, and the dirt out!

These were my first pair of raw denim jeans, and being a novice I washed them right side out which resulted in the splintering. I then wore them for on and off for a couple months and then I wore them for five weeks doing farm labor. the cuts in the denim on the right hand side are from cutting vegetable bundles in the field.

I’ve owned these Edwin’s for just over 2 months and try to wear them most days after work. I’ve worked them pretty hard and the subtle fades and creases are becoming evident, holding off on the first soak as long as possible.
